PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Edmond Watters founded STRADA in 2004. STRADA is a minority-owned infrastructure consulting and construction company that specializes in utility planning, design, program management, and transportation. Mr. Watters has guided the firm through innovative approaches to product delivery and visionary thinking to deliver industry leading services. STRADA has been awarded several milestone projects that have positioned the company to work on large scale projects with utility companies, municipal entities and airports.

Mr. Watters has extensive experience in various executive direction and program management roles on large-scale assignments. He is a Birmingham-based businessman with a multitude of successful endeavors in the areas of engineering services, construction services, commercial real estate development, energy investments, and financial services.

CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

Cherri Walker brings over 25 years of experience in management, operations, administrative and strategic planning, and outstanding customer-centric solutions to STRADA. Serving as our Chief Administrative Officer, and a member of our Executive Team, Cherri is involved in strategic planning, corporate marketing, branding, project management, and leadership for several areas, including human resources, office services, records management, and client deliverables. Cherri inherently understands that the customer is our most valued asset and she is driven by her unrelenting pursuit of customer-satisfaction that exceeds expectations time and time again.

Alfedo Acoff

Alfedo Acoff

ENGINEER & ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM MANAGER

Alfedo Acoff serves as STRADA’s Environmental Program Manager. She has over 30 years of experience which includes, but not limited to planning and engineering, environmental compliance and regulations pertaining to complex federal and state construction/transportation projects. She has extensive project management experience with the coordination and supervision of an interdisciplinary team of professionals such as archeologist, biologist, planners, engineers, consultants, etc., on major transportation/construction project implementation.

Her experience includes but is not limited to managing high priority projects with short timelines and making recommendation of allocations of resources, setting priorities and distributions of work assignments to members of team. She is responsible for all levels of planning, public involvement and prioritizing the environmental projects for STRADA.  She implemented/developed STRADA’s environmental guidelines and policy for used in project development and she has developed the public involvement process for the Bus Rapid Transit environmental and design phase of the project, the Transportation Development Plan and the Transit Orient Development Plan for the City of Birmingham and the Birmingham Jefferson County Transit Authority.

MEDIA & MARKETING MANAGER

Dorothy George is an experienced integrated marketing and business development strategist with proven ability to create, plan, and implement marketing strategies that grow businesses and capture specific target markets. Dorothy serves as the media and marketing manager, and she is responsible for developing the firm’s overall marketing and communications strategy. Dorothy manages the marketing activities that promote and enhance the brand across all markets. Under her leadership, the marketing and communications department generates proposals, statements of qualifications and promotional materials, in addition to managing the company website and digital presence. Dorothy graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in finance. She also earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix and Master of Science in Internet Marketing from Full Sail University.
